Red Acre Cabbage have beautiful violet to pink colored stems and green leaves, making them a favorite to decorate specialty dishes. With their small size and vibrant color, this variety alone can enhance the visual presentation of your plate, simply by sprinkling them on top.

Flavor Profile

The sweet cabbage taste is balanced with a peppery finish. While still having a mature red cabbage flavor, the intensity is milder so as not to overpower the main course. This variety is featured in our rainbow salad mix, but by itself is a favorite for sandwiches and pasta.

Red Cabbage is an antioxidant and immune enhancer. It’s anti-inflammatory properties have been said to limit oxidative stress which is linked to many diseases including hypertension and Parkinson’s. This variety is packed with Vitamins C, E and K, beta-carotene, and iron.

**Microgreens are harvested fresh on Friday mornings before pickup. Your estimated pickup date and time will be communicated to you through email. Pickup orders will be available at Cook Family Farms during normal business hours, the address is 3300 Frazer Road. Newark, DE 19702. If your order is placed after Wednesday, there is a good chance it will not be ready until the following Friday. Orders can be cancelled up until the day before (24 hours) the order is scheduled for pickup.**
